Scarlet Envy

Scarlet Envy is an American drag queen, television personality, singer, and performer, recognized for her appearances on multiple seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race and for advocating for LGBTQ+ rights and cancer awareness. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Advertising Design in 2014, Scarlet Envy launched her career in New York City’s vibrant nightlife, hosting ‘Scarlet Fever’ in Brooklyn. Her performance work quickly gained traction, leading to a notable appearance as a dancer for Katy Perry’s ‘Swish Swish’ on Saturday Night Live in 2017. Scarlet Envy gained widespread recognition as a contestant on the eleventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2019, where she won a main challenge, making a memorable impression on audiences and critics alike.

Further cementing her live performance prowess, Scarlet Envy launched the critically acclaimed 36-city ‘Bad Advice Tour,’ a 90-minute live show featuring cabaret, poetry, and music, which garnered nominations for Best Show, Best Solo Debut, and Best Musical Comedy at the BroadwayWorld 2024 Cabaret Awards. Beyond her artistic endeavors, Scarlet Envy is a dedicated advocate. She partners with organizations such as Teen Cancer America, hosting virtual makeup tutorials designed for cancer patients, and actively collaborates with Cornett, a Lexington advertising business, to champion and support drag artistry in Kentucky amidst legislative challenges. Scarlet Envy continues to be recognized as a prominent television personality, singer, and performer, utilizing her platform to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and cancer awareness.
