Karen Glennon – better known by her ring name Session Moth Martina – stands out from the pack of great female wrestlers. Famous for her fun party vibe and ability to use comedy creatively, she is currently signed to Ring of Honor and is proving that she’s much more than just a comedy figure. The former two-time OTT Women’s Champion and ICW Women’s Champion is looking to cement herself as one of the top wrestlers to come out of the Emerald Isle, and the talented Dubliner has already competed all over the United Kingdom and enjoyed a stint in Japan as part of STARDOM. She is also a former OTT Gender Neutral Champion and is a major advocate for inter-gender wrestling.
The wrestling star kicked off her career on the independent circuit in 2017, making her debut for Progress Wrestling before defeating Ravie Davie on her Insane Championship Wrestling debut in Glasgow the following year. She then rose to prominence after sealing victory over Kasey Owens to clinch the ICW Women’s Championship in February 2019.
Session Moth was part of the NXT UK brand first all-female tryout in summer 2019, and although she was invited back decided not to sign with WWE, preferring not give up her freedom at the time despite enjoying the experience. She went on to sign for Ring of Honor and defeated Sumie Sakai on her official debut in February 2020. While it’s always been clear that Session Moth Martina has a fun time in the ring, she’s also proving that she’s an incredibly capable wrestler too.
