Steve Farhood has established himself as a distinguished boxing historian and analyst, bringing decades of expertise to broadcasting and print media. After being appointed editor-in-chief for ‘The Ring’ magazine in January 1990, Steve Farhood went on to cement his reputation as a distinguished boxing historian and analyst. During his tenure as editor-in-chief, which ran until December 1997, he also held the top editorial position for ‘KO Magazine’. Farhood began his career in writing in 1978 with Stanley Weston’s G.C.
Farhoods lasting impact on boxing has been recognized with multiple Hall of Fame inductions; he was inducted into the New York State Boxing Hall of Fame on March 30, 2014, and the prestigious International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2017. Beyond his core analysis work, Farhood has also explored other ventures, including an acting role in a 2010 episode of ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’, commentary for ‘Broadway Boxing’ in 2009, and serving as an analyst for ‘Showtime Best of Boxing’ in 2004. In 2017, he also added producing to his credits with the film ‘Sunnyside.’
