Steve Priolo is a professional lacrosse defensemen for the Buffalo Bandits, known for his impactful presence on the field. After being drafted by the Buffalo Bandits in 2009, Steve Priolo officially joined the team for the 2010 NLL season, quickly establishing himself as a consistent and impactful defensive force. His prowess on the field earned him recognition across the league, leading to nominations as a finalist for the NLL’s Defensive Player of the Year Award in both 2013 and 2014. Beyond the National Lacrosse League, Priolo further honed his skills and contributed to other prominent lacrosse teams, including the St.

Catharines Athletics, St. Catharines Saints, and the Brooklin Redmen, showcasing his versatility and dedication to the sport. As a right-shooting defense player, weighing 227 lbs, his physical presence and strategic play quickly became a hallmark of his game. Priolo’s professional journey now spans over a decade with the Buffalo Bandits, marked by significant and sustained contributions.

Priolo has played 32 playoff games, where he contributed 6 goals and 22 assists for a total of 28 points. During these critical matchups, he also accumulated 30 penalty minutes and secured 209 loose balls, highlighting his ability to deliver under pressure and maintain his dominant defensive presence when it matters most. In 2024, Priolo achieved a major international milestone as a pivotal member of the Canada national team that secured victory at the World Lacrosse Box Championships held in Utica.
