About

Susan Yeagley was born on February 27, 1971, in Nashville, Tennessee, and grew up in Hendersonville. From a young age, she developed an interest in performance, leading to her first acting role at the age of ten in an Amy Grant music video for which she was compensated twenty-five dollars and an album. Continuing her pursuit of acting, she attended the University of Southern California, graduating from its Film School with honors. Following her academic career, Yeagley further honed her comedic skills by becoming a member of the ‘Sunday Company – Groundlings Improv Group,’ a notable proving ground for comedic talent.

Her career in film began when a casting director, after seeing her perform at Groundlings, cast her in Cameron Crowe’s 2000 film “Almost Famous.” This role marked the start of her involvement in various film projects, including the Coen brothers’ “Intolerable Cruelty,” “Coyote Ugly,” Neil Burger’s “The Lucky Ones,” and “Blended” alongside Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. On television, Yeagley gained significant recognition for her recurring role as Jessica Wicks in the NBC comedy “Parks and Recreation” from 2009 to 2015. She also had a recurring role in the FOX comedy “Til Death” for several seasons and has made guest appearances in numerous other shows, such as “Friends,” “ER,” “Everybody Loves Raymond,” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Yeagley also held a lead role in Christopher Guest’s 2016 film “Mascots,” portraying Laci Babineaux.

In addition to her acting work, Susan Yeagley has also ventured into production, with a credit as an executive producer for the upcoming 2025 documentary “Come See Me in the Good Light.” Her consistent work across film and television, often in comedic roles, led to her being recognized as one of “Ten Comedians to Watch” by Daily Variety. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Kevin Nealon, whom she married on September 3, 2005, and their son.
