Winner of the Start-up Academy in 2019 for her innovative ‘Hirnaktiv’ project, which secured a cash prize for its groundbreaking business idea, Svenja Zihsler has since become a leading figure in digital health technologies. Her robust academic foundation includes studies in Human Medicine and a Master of Science in Molecular Medicine from the University of Göttingen, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of both clinical and molecular aspects of health crucial to her entrepreneurial endeavors. In 2020, Ms. Zihsler co-founded Mentalee, where she serves as CEO, overseeing strategic operations including product development, partnerships, and securing vital funding.
Zihsler also leading research inquiries to integrate scientific expertise into Mentalee’s core mission. Her contributions extend to public speaking and academic engagement, participating in panel discussions such as ‘Industry & me From Lab to Launch’ in May 2025 at the Life Science Factory in Göttingen, where she highlighted her expertise in bridging scientific research with the startup world.
