Svetlana Osipova is an Olympic medalist and World Champion in Taekwondo, representing Uzbekistan on the global stage. After becoming a World Champion in 2022, Svetlana Osipova solidified her position as a dominant force in international Taekwondo, representing Uzbekistan on the global stage. Her senior career commenced in 2017, securing a silver medal at the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, in the 73kg category. The following year, Osipova earned a bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia, competing in the +67kg division.

Osipova continued her impressive streak in 2023, securing a silver medal at the World Taekwondo Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan, in the +73kg category. The same year, she added a bronze medal to her achievements at the Summer Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, competing in the +67kg division. These consecutive top-tier placements underscored her consistent presence on international podiums. In 2024, Osipova further elevated her career with a bronze medal at the Asian Championships in Da Nang, Vietnam, in the +73kg category, followed by a silver medal at the Military World Championships in the +73kg division.
