During her career as a Husky, she earned two-time All-BIG EAST First Team selection, was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2012 Kingston Regional, and concluded her collegiate career as an Associated Press Third Team All-American. Hayes was subsequently selected 14th overall in the 2012 WNBA Draft by the Atlanta Dream, immediately making an impact and earning a spot on the WNBA All-Rookie Team. Hayes continued her ascent with the Atlanta Dream, consistently developing her game and leading the team in scoring in 2017 with a career-high 16.3 points per game, which resulted in a WNBA All-Star selection. The 2018 season marked a significant milestone for Hayes, as she was named to the All-WNBA First Team and the WNBA All-Defensive Second Team, finishing sixth in MVP balloting.
During her tenure with the Dream, she reached 3,000 career points in 2019. Hayes also demonstrated her global reach in basketball, playing extensively overseas across multiple countries including Israel, Turkey, Brazil, Poland, and Spain. In 2023, Hayes joined the Connecticut Sun, where she appeared and started in all 40 games, reaching the impressive career milestones of 4,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. Her sustained excellence placed her among an elite group, becoming only the seventh player in WNBA history to achieve at least 4,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 750 assists, 300 steals, and 350 three-point field goals in 307 games.
Looking ahead, Hayes signed with the Golden State Valkyries in 2025, adding another notable franchise to her distinguished career. Beyond her athletic achievements, Tiffany Hayes has ventured into entrepreneurship, launching her community-based fashion brand, Seyah Renara, which merges her passion for style with her professional identity.
