Timothy Palumbo

Timothy Palumbo is a decorated para-archer, transitioning from a competitive athlete to an influential figure within the archery community, sharing his extensive experience and coaching expertise. After making his international debut in 2013, Timothy Palumbo swiftly established himself as a world medallist in para-archery, competing across individual, mixed team, and team events within the recurve open men’s and standing divisions. Guided by coach Randi Smith, Palumbo’s early dedication to the sport laid the foundation for a successful competitive journey. He competed in the 2015 ParaPan American Games in Toronto, participating in the Individual Recurve Open – Men category, and also made his first appearance at the World Archery Para Championships in the same year, marking his consistent performance at national and international levels.

He actively contributes to guiding and inspiring new archers, sharing his expertise to foster emerging talent in the sport. Palumbo’s academic background includes a degree in marketing from Niagara University, providing him with a strategic understanding that complements his extensive practical experience. Palumbo’s ambition extends to contributing to the sport through a marketing position within a Paralympic organization, where he aims to apply his academic expertise and competitive insights to support and promote para-archery globally. His ongoing impact as a prominent figure in the sport was recently highlighted at the 2025 SoCal Showdown, where he secured a gold medal in the recurve open men’s division against emerging talents, further demonstrating his unwavering skill and inspirational presence.
