Tituss Burgess is an actor, comedian, and singer best known for his dynamic performances across Broadway, television, and film, including his Emmy-nominated role in “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”. After garnering five Primetime Emmy Award nominations for his acclaimed portrayal of Titus Andromedon in the Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (20152020), Tituss Burgess has built a distinguished career across Broadway, television, and film. Prior to his breakout television role, Burgess made his Broadway debut in 2005 in Good Vibrations as Eddie, followed by a role as Hal Miller in Jersey Boys that same year. A significant milestone in his stage career was originating the role of Sebastian the Crab in The Little Mermaid on Broadway in 2007.
His upcoming theatrical commitments include playing Mary Todd Lincoln in the Broadway production of Oh, Mary!, with engagements scheduled for March-April 2025 and June-August 2025. He is also slated to voice Bashful in Disney’s live-action Snow White in 2025.
