The fabulous Tituss Burgess is an award-winning actor and singer, best known for his high tenor voice and his appearances in Broadway musicals. He is also recognised for his role as Titus Andromedon in the Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and for playing Cole Tillerman in the musical cartoon series Central Park.
Born and raised in Georgia, Burgess was active in the theatre programme during his High School years, and he later attended the University of Georgia to study music. He made his Broadway debut in the musical Good Vibrations in 2005, and has gone on to appear in such stage productions as Jersey Boys, The Little Mermaid, and Guys and Dolls. He made his TV debut as a narrator in an episode of Schoolhouse Rock in 2009, and has gone on to appear in such productions as 30 Rock, The Good Fight, and Annie Live! While as a host he has fronted Dishmantled, and Sing On! For the movies, he has voiced a number of animations, including The Angry Birds Movie, Smurfs: The Lost Village, and The Addams Family, and has appeared in such films as Are You Joking?, Set It Up, and Respect.
