Tony de Zorzi

Tony de Zorzi has established himself as a prominent South African cricketer, transitioning from captaining the national Under-19 squad to securing national contracts and achieving significant milestones in both domestic and international cricket. After captaining South Africa’s squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, Tony de Zorzi rapidly ascended through professional cricket ranks, demonstrating exceptional leadership and batting prowess. He made his Twenty20 debut for Northerns against Kenya on September 16, 2016, followed swiftly by his first-class debut for Northerns on October 28, 2016, in the 2016–17 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup. His List A debut occurred just days later on October 31, 2016, during the 2016–17 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge.

Throughout his career, De Zorzi has also contributed to various domestic teams globally, including stints with Durham (2018), Paarl Rocks (2018), Hampshire (2019), and Punjab Kings (2021). De Zorzi remains a vital player in the international arena, having been a member of the winning squad for the 2023-25 World Test Championship.
