After establishing himself as a prominent resident DJ at Germany’s renowned Gaslight club in 1985, Tony T. quickly transitioned into production and vocal work, making an indelible mark on the German dance music scene. Under Beat System, he released early 1990s singles ‘Dance Romance’ and ‘Stay with Me.’ A pivotal moment arrived in 1996 with his charted German cover of Kool & The Gang’s ‘Fresh,’ followed by Jimmy Cliff’s ‘Reggae Night.’ The Beat System project culminated in its sole album, ‘Refreshiator,’ solidifying Tony T.’s foundational presence in European electronic music.
