Trevor Hall is a rising talent with a purely original sound, mixing his husky vocals with a mix of folk music and a little electronica. Impressively, Hall began writing and recording his music at just the age of sixteen, but it was later in his career when he began to get noticed. Since releasing his album, KALA, in 2015, he’s garnered a large following for his down to earth music, with over a million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Hall writes all of his music himself, having studied classical music at the Idyllwild Arts Academy in LA. It was here that he found his distinct sound, tapping into his central theme of spirituality, love and finding the right path. Whilst in LA, he was signed by Geffen Records and he began to take his music to the next level. He began to record EPs to get his music out into the world, never straying from his original sound that made him stand out from the crowd.
From there, things only got better for Hall. Even before his album, KALA, was released, he was getting noticed, notably when his song, Other Ways, was used on the Shrek the Third soundtrack. In fact, he released six albums before KALA, but as his career progressed, he reached impressive milestones such as a sellout tour and musical collaborations with artists both big and small.
