Trevor Hall

Born on November 28, 1986, in Greenwich, Connecticut, and raised in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Trevor Hall’s musical journey began at a young age, influenced by his drummer father. He started playing guitar with the ambition of becoming a singer-songwriter, recording his first album at 16. His education took him to Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, where he delved into classical guitar and was introduced to yoga, meditation, and spirituality. These practices significantly shaped his personal life and musical themes, notably leading to his conversion to Hinduism in 2006, where he began to view his music as karma yoga.

Throughout his career, Hall has released several studio albums, EPs, and live recordings. His 2015 album, “Kala,” debuted at No. 2 on the iTunes singer-songwriter chart, showcasing his continued artistic growth. In 2018, he released “The Fruitful Darkness,” his first independent album, which became the No. 1 music campaign on Kickstarter in 2017. This marked a significant turn in his career, demonstrating his ability to connect directly with and be supported by his fanbase. He has also achieved the milestone of headlining the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado twice, playing to sold-out crowds in 2019 and announcing a return in 2020, solidifying his presence in the music scene.

Hall’s music often explores themes of love, struggle, growth, and redemption, utilizing a diverse palette of genres from folk, roots-rock, indie, and electronic, all infused with authentic Eastern influences. His 2020 album, “In And Through The Body,” produced by Brad Cook, further exemplifies this unique sound and thematic depth, featuring collaborations with his family members. Beyond his music, Trevor and his wife, Emory Hall, established the Where the Rivers Meet Foundation in 2020, extending their humanitarian efforts to India and Nepal, reflecting his deep personal connection to these regions and their spiritual traditions.
