Valerie Loureda

Valerie Loureda, born on July 19, 1998, in Miami, Florida, is of Cuban descent. Loureda grew up in a family deeply immersed in Taekwondo, with her father being a Taekwondo master. She herself achieved a 4th-dan black belt in Taekwondo and was a member of the US Olympic Taekwondo team, showcasing her martial arts background and competitive drive early in her career. Her early training laid the foundation for her later ventures into mixed martial arts and professional wrestling.

Loureda made her professional mixed martial arts debut with Bellator MMA in 2019. She quickly established a presence in the women’s flyweight division, compiling a professional record of 4 wins and 1 loss. Her victories included two by knockout and two by unanimous decision, demonstrating her striking prowess and resilience. Notable fights include her debut win against Colby Fletcher at Bellator 216 in February 2019 and a knockout victory over Tara Graff at Bellator 243 in August 2020. She last competed in MMA in November 2021, securing a split-decision win against Taylor Turner at Bellator 271.

In March 2022, Loureda participated in a WWE tryout, marking a significant turning point in her athletic career. She officially signed with WWE in August 2022 and began performing on the NXT brand under the ring name Lola Vice. Her transition to professional wrestling saw her quickly ascend, winning the 2023 NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, which granted her a contract for an NXT Women’s Championship match. Since her debut, she has engaged in high-profile matches, including an NXT Women’s Championship bout at NXT Heatwave in July 2024 and an NXT Underground match victory at NXT Deadline in December 2024, cementing her presence in the professional wrestling world.
