Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli, an icon in international cricket, has led India to significant victories and achieved numerous batting records, solidifying his status as a prominent global athlete. After captaining the India Under-19 team to a World Cup victory in Malaysia in 2008, Virat Kohli made his senior international debut in August 2008 with a call-up to the One Day International (ODI) squad. He quickly established himself, scoring his first ODI century in December 2009 against Sri Lanka and becoming the fastest Indian to reach 1,000 ODI runs in 2010. Kohli was a pivotal member of the Indian team that secured the 2011 Cricket World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.

He was also instrumental in India’s victories at the ACC Asia Cup in 2010, 2016, and 2023.
