Walles Hamonde

Walles Hamonde’s early life involved living across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. He pursued higher education at Emerson College in Boston, MA, where he earned both a BA and an MA in Communications and Performing Arts. Initially, he worked for a brief period as a copywriter. Following this, he dedicated several years to competitive figure skating, achieving medals before an injury prompted a career change. This transition led him into the acting world, where he has since established a significant presence in various media.

Hamonde’s career in acting includes notable film appearances such as ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’, ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’, and ‘Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation’. His television credits include ’50 Ways to Kill Your Lover’ for Discovery ID and ‘Mongrels’ for BBC 3. He became a familiar face to television audiences for his role as Rich in Armando Iannucci’s HBO series ‘Avenue 5’. Another significant role was as Sheik Al Jamain in the Netflix animation ‘Captain Fall’. Additionally, he portrayed Doctor Saed in a 2023 New Year’s episode of ‘EastEnders’. Hamonde has also been involved in numerous audio dramas, video games, and animations, showcasing his versatility as a voice artist.

A recent career highlight for Hamonde is his role as Glen in the 2024 film ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ alongside Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder. This project held personal significance due to his past as a figure skater performing to the original ‘Beetlejuice’ score. His work as the lead Auror in the Harry Potter spin-off, ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’, also stands out.
