Will Ganss, born on March 5, 1992, in Fort Worth, Texas, pursued his education at Fordham University in New York City, where he studied communications. His career in broadcast journalism began in 2012 with an internship at ABC News on Good Morning America. He steadily progressed within the organization, gaining experience as an anchor producer, writer, and segment producer. Throughout his tenure, Ganss has demonstrated a consistent focus on human-interest stories and reporting on significant cultural events.

In 2023, Ganss was promoted to multiplatform reporter at ABC News, a role that expanded his responsibilities across various broadcast and digital platforms. That same year, he also served as the “kindness correspondent” for GMA3’s “Cool to be Kind” initiative. His reporting includes covering Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” from London, conducting interviews on the red carpets of events such as the Tony Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and the Oscars, and spotlighting viral trends and stars from TikTok. Ganss is an multiple Emmy® and Webby Award-winning reporter, having received three Daytime Emmy Awards and a Webby Award for his work.
