Willie Taylor is a singer, songwriter, and actor, recognized for his musical contributions with Day26 and his appearances in film and television productions. After being selected by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on August 26, 2007, to be a primary vocalist and member of the R&B group Day26 on MTV’s ‘Making the Band 4,’ Willie Taylor went on to co-star in the series from 2007 to 2009 and contribute to the group’s debut album released in 2008. Day26 followed this success with their second album, ‘Forever in a Day,’ in April 2009. Prior to his work with Day26, Taylor honed his musical talents as a member of the Chicago-based group Kwiet Storm for ten years, achieving visibility with their music video ‘Leave Me Alone’ which aired on BET’s ‘Midnight Love,’ ‘Cita’s World,’ ‘Hits from the Street,’ and as a ‘New Joint of the Day’ on ‘106 & Park.’ His foundational work also included significant songwriting collaborations, co-writing ‘So Many Ways’ and ‘With You’ for Avant’s album ‘Director,’ and working with acclaimed artists such as Ginuwine, Jagged Edge, and Joe.
Beyond his work as a performer, Willie Taylor serves as the CEO of Noivak Music Group. His upcoming projects include acting roles in ‘Let It Burn,’ slated for release in 2025, and ‘Steppin Into Love,’ where he will also contribute as a composer. Taylor also holds a producing credit for the completed film ‘Mafietta: A House Divided.’
