William Madison Taylor III, born on March 29, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois, established his career as a singer, songwriter, and record producer. His early musical endeavors included being a member of the Chicago-based group Kwiet Storm for ten years. During his time with Kwiet Storm, their music video “Leave Me Alone” garnered attention, appearing on BET’s programs such as ‘Midnight Love,’ ‘Cita’s World,’ ‘Hits from the Street,’ and as a ‘New Joint of the Day’ on ‘106 & Park.’ Taylor’s foundational work in music also involved collaborations with notable artists, co-writing songs like “So Many Ways” and “With You” for Avant’s album ‘Director,’ and working with Ginuwine, Jagged Edge, and Joe.
