Luther Dickinson, a five-time Grammy-nominated musician, songwriter, and producer, is celebrated for his distinctive guitar work and ability to seamlessly navigate multiple genres. He solidified his reputation as a formidable talent in 2007 when Rolling Stone Magazine declared him a ‘New Guitar God.’ That same year, Dickinson joined the iconic rock band The Black Crowes as their guitarist, a pivotal role he held for a period. A co-founder of the five-time Grammy-nominated and Blues Music Award-winning group, The North Mississippi Allstars, Dickinson established the band with his brother Cody. His collaborative spirit also led to the formation of ‘The Word’ in 2000, an instrumental sacred steel/gospel blues jam band featuring renowned artists such as Robert Randolph and John Medeski, further showcasing his early versatility and innovative musical vision.

Maintaining his prolific output, Dickinson recently partnered with JD Simo, releasing the album ‘Do the Rump!’ in 2024, a project that quickly led to an accompanying tour.
