Barthélémy Chinenyeze, an Olympic gold medalist and recognized middle blocker, continues to achieve success in professional volleyball both domestically and internationally. After securing a gold medal at the 2017 FIVB World League, Barthélémy Chinenyeze established himself as a formidable middle blocker on the international stage. His early career saw him join the French national team in 2017, where he swiftly made an impact by participating in both the 2017 European Championship and the 2017 World Grand Champions Cup. Concurrently, Chinenyeze played with Spacer’s de Toulouse from 2016 to 2018 before moving to Asseco Resovia in 2018, marking a significant progression in his club career.
Further national team success followed with a gold medal at the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League, and his outstanding contributions were recognized with the prestigious Knight of the Legion of Honour state award in 2021. From 2022 to 2025, Chinenyeze anchored the defense for Cucine Lube Civitanova, securing a silver medal in the Italian Championship during the 20222023 season.
