Blake McGrath is a Canadian dancer, choreographer, and singer who has performed with global music artists and appeared in major television productions. After gaining wider recognition as a contestant on the first season of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ in 2005, Blake McGrath went on to establish a multi-faceted career as a dancer, choreographer, and recording artist. His early career included impactful performances for major global events, such as Michael Jackson’s thirtieth-anniversary special in 2001 and dancing alongside Paulina Rubio at the 2004 Latin Grammy Awards. McGraths foundational work also extended to television and film, with roles as Stuart Sanger in ‘Choices of the Heart: The Margaret Sanger Story’ (1997) and Casey in ‘Goosebumps: Stay Out of the Basement,’ in addition to appearances in films like ‘Butterbox Babies,’ ‘Life With Mikey,’ ‘Chicago,’ and ‘Rent.’ He also featured in high-profile advertising campaigns for Gap with Sarah Jessica Parker, iPod, JCPenney, and Hummer.
He further expanded his musical catalog with the album ‘Wild Love’ in 2021. Beyond his performance and recording work, Blake McGrath is also an entrepreneur and mentor, owning VIP Dance Events, which actively organizes dance tours across Canada, and leading the Blake McGrath Mentorship program, dedicated to developing the next generation of dancers.
