A 2006 graduate of Butler University with a communications degree, Political Science major, and Business minor, Gaudin was recognized as the Most Outstanding Communications Student and one of the Top 10 Male Students in his graduating class. His professional journey began with broadcasting Minor League Baseball games for the Orem Owlz, followed by three seasons as the ‘Voice of the Evansville Purple Aces’ from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013, he served as the play-by-play voice for his alma mater, the Butler Bulldogs, notably calling their Final Four run in 2011. During this period, Gaudin also commenced freelance work with Turner Sports, covering various collegiate championships.
In February 2023, Gaudin achieved a significant career milestone, becoming the lead play-by-play announcer for the Atlanta Braves on Bally Sports South and Southeast, a role he is confirmed to continue through 2025. This appointment represented a culmination of his professional dedication within baseball broadcasting. Maintaining his long-standing commitment to the Madden NFL franchise, Gaudin continues to provide the iconic voice for the video game series. In addition to his ongoing role with the Atlanta Braves, he is also slated to broadcast select MLB Regular season games for MLB on TBS in 2025, further diversifying his national broadcast portfolio.
