Bryce Andrew Mitchell was born on October 4, 1994, in Texarkana, Arkansas, and raised in Cabot, Arkansas. He participated in various sports during his time at Cabot High School, including basketball and wrestling, where he achieved notable rankings at state championships. Mitchell later attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, where he earned a degree in economics. His athletic background in wrestling provided a foundation for his mixed martial arts career, characterized by a focus on grappling and submission techniques.
Mitchell began his professional MMA career, compiling an undefeated record of 9–0 before his appearance on “The Ultimate Fighter: Undefeated.” Despite not winning the season, he secured a contract with the UFC. His tenure in the UFC has been marked by several significant victories and accomplishments, including a rare twister submission win in 2019, which garnered him both a Performance of the Night award and multiple Submission of the Year honors from various MMA publications.
