Cyrian Ravet was born on September 5, 2002, in Lyon, France. He began his journey in taekwondo, a combative sport gaining popularity worldwide. Ravet represents France in international competitions, specializing in the 58 kg and 63 kg categories. His early career saw him competing in junior and youth divisions, where he started accumulating medals and gaining international experience. He is affiliated with the INSEP university team and trains with the Taekwondo Asnières Elite club, coached by Ekvara Kamkasoumphou.
Ravet’s career progression shows consistent improvement and significant milestones. He secured his first major gold medal at the 2015 Serbia Open in the -37 kg junior category. His performance continued to develop, leading to further successes in various international open tournaments. A turning point in his career was earning a gold medal at the 2020 European Championships Olympic Weight Categories in Sarajevo, followed by back-to-back gold medals at the senior European Taekwondo Championships in 2021 in Sofia and 2022 in Manchester, both in the 58 kg category. His dedication culminated in his participation in the Olympic Games, where he earned a bronze medal at Paris 2024 in the Men’s 58kg Taekwondo event.
