Diora Baird

Diora Baird was born on April 6, 1983, in Miami, Florida. Her career in entertainment began at a young age when her mother enrolled her in acting classes to help with introversion. This early exposure led her to develop an interest in acting, which she pursued by moving to Los Angeles at the age of 17. During her initial years in Los Angeles, she supported herself through various jobs, including working at The Gap, as a caterer, waitress, pre-school teacher, and a clown for children’s parties, while attending auditions.

Her career gained momentum when she entered the modeling industry, notably becoming a model for the clothing brand Guess?. Her visibility further increased with an appearance on the cover of Playboy magazine in August 2005. Baird transitioned into acting, securing early roles in television with an appearance on “The Drew Carey Show” in 2004 and in the film “Brain Blockers.” Her breakthrough role in a major film came in 2005 with “Wedding Crashers,” followed by parts in “Accepted” and “Hot Tamale” in 2006. That same year, she took on a significant role in the horror film “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning.”

Over the years, Baird has continued to build her acting portfolio across film and television. Her work includes roles in “My Best Friend’s Girl” (2008), “Stan Helsing” (2009), and “30 Days of Night: Dark Days” (2010). She has made guest appearances in various television series such as “Two and a Half Men,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Psych,” and “Shameless.” More recently, she has appeared in “Cobra Kai” (2018–2025) and television films like “You’re Not Supposed to Be Here” (2023).
