Gottmik is a drag queen who also works as a make-up artist. Cindy Crawford, Todrick Hall, Paris Hilton, Heidi Klum, Adam Lambert, French Montana, Tinashe and Drag Race participants Alaska Thunderfuck, Detox Icunt, Gia Gunn, Shangela, Violet Chachki, and Willam Belli have all had her apply their makeup. Her art has featured in the publications Flaunt, Nylon, and Paper. She applied the makeup for Amanda Lepore and Pabllo Vittar’s Gay Times covers. Gottmik handled Lil Nas X’s Halloween makeup in 2020. She also applied the makeup for the celebs featured in Taylor Swift’s You Need to Calm Down song from 2019.

In the thirteenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2021, Gottmik became the first trans male to participate. She did well in the competition, winning two tasks (the ball and the Snatch Game, in which she played as Paris Hilton), and eventually finishing in the top four with Kandy Muse, Symone, and Rosé. She was eliminated during the finals episode in a lip sync battle for her life to the song “Gimme More” against the eventual winner, Symone, and ended up tied for second/third place with Rosé.

Gottmik debuted on the Gigi Gorgeous, Pearl, James Charles, and World of Wonder channels in January 2021. In April that year, Gottmik was featured on the cover of Attitude magazine’s April Style edition. Gottmik signed with Voss Events talent management after appearing on Drag Race. She has over 1.3 million Instagram followers as of October 2021, making her one of the most popular queens on Drag Race.
