Having begun his professional journey as a stuntman and martial artist, even representing Selangor in the SUKMA Games in 2004, he seamlessly transitioned to acting, following ‘Mahabbah De Laila’ with appearances in various telemovies and drama series including ‘Teknofobia,’ ‘Pontianak Remaja,’ and ‘5 Bujang.’ His feature film debut came in 2011 with ‘Keramat.’ A significant early career milestone was winning first place in ‘Fear Factor Celebrity Malaysia’ in 2013 alongside teammate Dazrin Kamaruddin, demonstrating his proficiency in high-stakes challenges. Hairul Azreen quickly became a prominent figure in Malaysian cinema, known for delivering action-packed performances in several high-grossing films.

He designated ‘MALBATT: Misi Bakara’ (2023) and the upcoming 2025 release ‘The Original Gangster’ as his final film appearances, aiming for them to be memorable contributions to Malaysian cinema. His prolific career has left an indelible mark on the industry, showcasing a rare blend of martial arts discipline, acting prowess, and directorial vision.
