Hugh Jackman

Hugh Jackman first garnered international recognition for his performance as Curly in the Royal National Theatre’s production of Oklahoma! in London’s West End in 1998, which earned him an Olivier Award nomination. Previously, Jackman had established himself in Australian theatre with roles such as Gaston in Beauty and the Beast in 1995 and Joe Gillis in Sunset Boulevard in 1996. After graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 1994, he secured a starring role in the ABC-TV prison drama Correlli.
