Isaiah Thomas is a two-time NBA All-Star point guard known for his dynamic scoring and playmaking abilities. After a successful collegiate career at Washington, he has played for multiple NBA teams, demonstrating resilience and leadership throughout his journey. After a decorated collegiate career at the University of Washington, which included two Pac-10 tournament MVP titles in 2010 and 2011, Isaiah Thomas was named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year in 2009 and earned First-team All-Pac-10 honors in both 2010 and 2011. During his final collegiate season in 2011, he notably scored 28 points and hit a game-winning buzzer-beater in overtime to secure the Pac-10 tournament championship against Arizona.
During the 2016-17 season, Thomas was an All-NBA Second Team selection, averaging an impressive 28.9 points per game, the third-highest in the league. He set a Celtics franchise record with 43 consecutive 20-point games and delivered a career-high 52 points against the Miami Heat in December 2016. Despite sustaining a hip injury, he led the Celtics to the first seed in the Eastern Conference and a deep playoff run, including a monumental 53-point performance in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals in 2017. Following his impactful tenure with the Celtics, Thomas continued to compete at a high level across various NBA teams, including stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets, Washington Wizards, New Orleans Pelicans, Dallas Mavericks, Charlotte Hornets, and a second spell with the Phoenix Suns.
