James Ellsworth

James Ellsworth Morris, born on December 11, 1984, in Baltimore, Maryland, embarked on his professional wrestling career in 2002. For fourteen years, he honed his skills on the independent circuit under the ring name “Jimmy Dream,” often forming a tag team known as “The Pretty Ugly” with Adam Ugly. During this period, he secured multiple regional championships across the Northeastern United States, including titles in American Combat Wrestling, Big Time Wrestling, and First State Championship Wrestling. He also gained experience in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) and founded his own promotion, Adrenaline Championship Wrestling (ACW), in September 2009. His early career was characterized by consistent performance and a gradual accumulation of various championship accolades.

Ellsworth’s career took a significant turn in 2016 when he made his initial appearances in WWE. He first appeared on Raw as an enhancement talent, in a match against Braun Strowman, where his pre-match promo, declaring “any man with two hands has a fighting chance,” resonated with audiences and developed a cult following. This led to an unexpected return to SmackDown Live later that year, where he became involved in a high-profile storyline involving WWE Champion AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose. His storyline progression included securing victories over AJ Styles, albeit often with external interference or disqualification, and a legitimate contract signing with WWE.

Following his WWE Championship pursuit storyline, Ellsworth allied himself with Carmella in 2017, managing her and assisting her in matches, including her victory in the inaugural Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. His association with Carmella continued, marked by memorable moments such as being suspended in a shark cage during a match at Extreme Rules in 2018. After his WWE departure in 2018, Ellsworth returned to the independent circuit, where he continued to compete and even created his own Intergender Championship. He also made an appearance for Impact Wrestling at Bound for Glory in 2018, demonstrating his continued presence and versatility within the professional wrestling landscape.
