Jared Cannonier

Born on March 16, 1984, in Dallas, Texas, Jared Cannonier embarked on his professional mixed martial arts career in June 2011 after an amateur stint that began earlier that year. Prior to his MMA career, Cannonier served in the United States Army for three years. Following his military service, he worked in Alaska before receiving an opportunity to compete in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He amassed an undefeated professional record of 7-0 before signing with the UFC in October 2014, making his debut as a heavyweight in January 2015. Over his career, Cannonier has demonstrated notable versatility, competing in three different weight classes within the UFC: heavyweight, light heavyweight, and middleweight.
