Jenna Ortega

Jenna Ortega has transitioned from an acclaimed child actress in Disney productions to a leading lady in award-winning films and television series, recognized for her versatile performances and humanitarian efforts. After gaining early recognition for her professional acting debut in the sitcom Rob in 2012 and her film debut in Iron Man 3 in 2013, Jenna Ortega quickly established herself across diverse projects. She further showcased her talent with an appearance in the horror film Insidious: Chapter 2 in 2013, a recurring role as a younger Jane in The CW’s Jane the Virgin from 2014 to 2019, and a starring role as Darcy in the 2015 Netflix sitcom Richie Rich. Ortega then took on the lead role of Harley Diaz, an engineering prodigy, in the Disney Channel series Stuck in the Middle from 2016 to 2018, for which she earned an Imagen Award in 2018.

During this period, she also lent her voice to Princess Isabel in the animated series Elena of Avalor from 2016 to 2020. Transitioning to more mature and acclaimed roles, Ortega joined the second season of Netflix’s thriller series You as Ellie Alves in 2019 and co-starred as Phoebe in the horror sequel The Babysitter: Killer Queen in 2020. Her performance as a traumatized high school student in the critically acclaimed drama film The Fallout in 2021 further solidified her dramatic capabilities. Ortega also voiced Brooklynn in the animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous from 2020 to 2022 and made her writing debut with It’s All Love: Reflections for Your Heart & Soul in 2021.
