Rising star Joe Griffiths-Brown rose to fame when he was cast in the West End production of Hamilton. Griffiths-Brown was just 18 years old when he landed the part in Lin-Manuel Mirand’s smash hit musical, performing as a Swing in London’s most popular show of modern times.
Griffiths-Brown grew up with a dream of performing on London’s West End stages, and gained a place at Tring Park School of Performing Arts when he 16 whilst continuing his A Levels. He won his first major part – Electra in Starlight Express – in 2016, before graduating from Tring Park School two years later. Within a year of graduation, the young star auditioned for the hottest musical in London, Hamilton, and was delighted when the producers asked him to join the cast of the award-winning production in the West End. Following his successful run in Hamilton, Griffiths-Brown has been named as a leading cast member in the West End premiere of Frozen, the musical based on the Disney animated film at the refurbished Theatre Royal Drury Lane from Spring 2021.
When he isn’t performing on the stage, Griffiths-Brown has helped children to engage in theatre through song and dance as part of a project with Golden Toad Theatre, also lending his vocal talents to a pop track as part of an interactive video experience which forms part of the initiative.
