Kendric Davis

Kendric Davis was born on May 14, 1999, in Houston, Texas, and began his basketball journey early, joining the varsity team at Sam Houston Math, Science, and Technology Center in his freshman year. Demonstrating consistent performance, he averaged 22.6 points and 6.6 assists per game as a senior, earning recognition as a two-time Class 6A All-State selection and a three-time 20-6A District MVP. Following a successful high school career, Davis committed to playing college basketball for TCU.

Davis’s college career involved playing for several institutions. He started at TCU (2018–2019) before transferring to SMU (2019–2022). While at SMU, he tested positive for COVID-19 in June 2020. He was named AAC Player of the Year in 2022 and then transferred to the University of Memphis (2022–2023) for his final season of eligibility, where he continued to demonstrate high-level play. He surpassed the 2,000-point threshold in January 2023 and was named AAC Tournament MVP.

After going undrafted in the 2023 NBA draft, Davis joined the Golden State Warriors for the 2023 NBA Summer League before moving to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA G League. He was named to the NBA G League All-Rookie Team in 2024. In 2024, Davis began his international career with the Adelaide 36ers in Australia’s National Basketball League (NBL), where he was the runner-up for league MVP and earned All-NBL First Team honors. Following a brief stint with the Nanjing Monkey Kings in China in 2025, Davis signed with the Sydney Kings for the 2025–26 NBL season, continuing his professional career.
