Kierra Luv is rapper from the United States. Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, and Halle Berry soon co-signed the 18-year-old Harrisburg, PA rapper after her freestyle raps became popular on social media. Kierra’s first mixtape, ‘Take It Or Leave It,’ was released earlier this month through 10K Projects. 10-track mixtape includes a variety of industry heavyweights, including Queens vocalist Ray Moon and Canadian rapper Tory Lanez, as well as Puerto Rican singer and rapper Iann Dior.
Luv’s flexibility as a rapper is seen in ‘Take It Or Leave It.’ Despite the fact that this is her debut mixtape, she has made it plain that she will not be labeled. Luv contributes a vast tapestry of life events to her songs, from seeing domestic abuse and drinking issues at home to grief and growing up, but they’re all things she’s seen firsthand: “I believe it is critical that I solely rap about events that have occurred and that I have seen.”
Luv used poetry to convey her thoughts about school, breakups, and a tough family life as she grew up in her grandparents’ bustling home with a single mother working full-time and little space. It wasn’t long before her internet raps had surpassed 20 million views and she was approached by a record company. Luv’s cover of Cardi B’s “Money” became viral, with mentions on Say Cheese to WorldStarHipHopHop. When Tabius Tate of Love & Hip-Hop heard about it, he told Cardi B about it. Luv was shot into the stratosphere after the celebrity published her rap on Instagram, and she hasn’t looked back since.
