Kitty King

Kitty King, an Olympic event rider, holds the distinction of being the first British event rider to represent Great Britain and win medals at pony, junior, young rider, and senior levels. Her professional career began with a call-up to represent Great Britain at the 1998 Pony European Championships, where she secured a team silver medal. This was quickly followed by another team silver medal and an impressive fourth-place individual finish at the 2000 Junior European Championships, riding Leading Edge. In 2003, King was crowned the U25 British Champion and further solidified her talent with a team gold medal at the Young Rider Europeans in Poland.

Her success at the European Championships was reaffirmed two years later, in 2023, at the FEI Eventing European Championship in Haras du Pin, France. Here, riding Vendredi Biats, King not only repeated her team gold success but also secured an individual silver medal, further cementing her status among the sport’s elite. Her consistent performance at top-level competitions underscores a dedicated and distinguished professional trajectory. Beyond her competitive career, Kitty King operates her professional enterprise, Kitty King Eventing, where she focuses on the training and trading of horses for eventing.
