Liv Morgan

Gionna Jene Daddio, known professionally as Liv Morgan, was born on June 8, 1994, in Morristown, New Jersey. Raised in Elmwood Park alongside four older brothers and a sister by a single mother, Daddio developed an early passion for professional wrestling, often participating in backyard wrestling with her siblings. She found inspiration in wrestlers like Lita, who challenged traditional feminine portrayals in the sport, resonating with Daddio’s own tomboy persona. Before her wrestling career, Daddio was a competitive cheerleader and worked as a model at Hooters, where a chance encounter led her to connections in the wrestling world and ultimately to WWE.

In 2014, Daddio signed with WWE and began her training at the WWE Performance Center, making her televised debut in NXT under the ring name Liv Morgan. Her main roster debut followed in 2017 as part of “The Riott Squad” alongside Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan. After the stable’s dissolution in 2019, Morgan embarked on a singles career, which included a memorable storyline with Lana and Rusev in 2019–2020. A significant turning point came in 2022 when she won the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match and successfully cashed in the same night to become the SmackDown Women’s Champion, her first title in WWE. This achievement marked a pivotal moment in her career, solidifying her status as a top contender.

Morgan continued to build on her success, forming a tag team with Raquel Rodriguez. Together, they achieved remarkable success, capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship four times, setting a new record. Her career saw further championship reigns, including a second Women’s World Championship and the inaugural WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship in 2024. Despite injuries that led to periods of inactivity, Morgan consistently returned to competition, demonstrating a resilient career trajectory. In 2024, she joined The Judgment Day, marking a shift in her on-screen persona and leading to new storylines and accolades, including Female Superstar of the Year and Villain of the Year Slammy Awards in 2025.
