Maria Bartiromo has transitioned from a pioneering financial journalist on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange to a prominent news anchor and author on Fox Business and Fox News, offering insights into global markets and public policy. After becoming the first television journalist to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange in 1993, Maria Bartiromo established herself as a trailblazing force in financial news broadcasting. Graduating from New York University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and economics, Bartiromo began her career at CNN Business, serving as an executive producer and assignment editor for five years. She then joined CNBC in 1993, pioneering live financial reporting directly from the NYSE, a role that quickly garnered significant industry attention.
