Nathaniel Pierre-Louis

Nathaniel Pierre-Louis was born on December 23, 1998, in Plainfield, New Jersey. He developed his basketball skills through high school, attending St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City, St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, and Roselle Catholic High School in Roselle. At Roselle Catholic, he averaged 15.6 points per game, helping his team reach the Union County Tournament final and the South Jersey, Non-Public B final.

Pierre-Louis continued his career at Temple University, where he played as a three-star recruit. Over 91 games, he demonstrated consistent performance, particularly in his junior year (2019-2020), averaging 10.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.8 steals. His college career earned him recognition, including being named to the AAC All-Rookie Team in 2018 and receiving the AAC Most Improved Player award in 2019. He majored in psychology during his time at Temple.

After going undrafted in the 2020 NBA draft, Pierre-Louis began his professional career with the South Bay Lakers in 2021. He played 32 games in his first season, averaging 9.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.7 steals. His tenure with the South Bay Lakers also included a brief period with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2022 during the NBA Summer League. In March 2023, he received the Jason Collier Sportsmanship Award for his conduct within the league. Since then, he has played for the Mexico City Capitanes, Long Island Nets, Iowa Wolves, and currently for the Oberwart Gunners in the Austrian Basketball Superliga, demonstrating continuous engagement in professional basketball.
