First picking up a broom at the age of 5 years old, Homan’s lifelong curling obsession was born. Throughout curling history, rarely does a talent such as Homan’s come along. Queen of the pivotal Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Homan has become a firm favourite for the podium over the years. Having captured the gold medal three times, the silver twice and a bronze, Homan is shaking up Canada’s national championships. Beyond her success at the national level, Homan has not only competed at three World Women’s Curling Championships – she has medalled at every single one. Topping off her success with the 2017 Beijing gold, Homan fought her way to the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
