Rachel Homan

Rachel Homan is a Canadian curler, renowned for her exceptional skills as a skip, and her remarkable journey balancing a top-tier athletic career with motherhood. After securing four consecutive provincial championships from 2003 to 2006 in the bantam-aged category, Rachel Homan went on to lead Team Ontario to a gold medal at the 2007 Canada Winter Games. By 2010, Homan’s junior team, which included Emma Miskew, Laura Crocker, and Lynn Kreviazuk, achieved an undefeated 13-0 record at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships, capturing the national title, and subsequently earned a silver medal at the World Junior Curling Championships. Transitioning into her women’s career, Homan made an immediate impact, winning her first Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts in 2011, followed by her inaugural Grand Slam of Curling title at the Masters of Curling in 2012.

Her demonstrated resilience is further underscored by rapidly returning to competition and winning major titles following childbirth in 2019, 2021, and 2023.
