Santia Deck has transformed from a multi-sport athlete and fitness influencer into a trailblazing entrepreneur and professional football player. After signing a groundbreaking contract in December 2019 with the Women’s Football League Association (WFLA), which positioned her to be the highest-paid female Football player, Santia Deck went on to redefine the landscape for female athletes and entrepreneurs. Deck’s formidable athletic career began in collegiate sports, where she earned a full track and field scholarship to Texas A&M University–Kingsville, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literature. Following her academic pursuits, Deck gained significant prominence as a fitness trainer, cultivating a substantial online following through her dynamic workout content and flag football demonstrations.

This athletic prowess further translated into competitive sports when she officially joined the Legends Football League (LFL) in 2017. The trailblazing WFLA contract in December 2019, while for a league that ultimately did not launch, underscored Deck’s market value and pioneering spirit in professional sports. Undeterred, Deck pivoted this momentum into a significant entrepreneurial venture, founding TRONUS, her own sneaker company, in July 2020. This groundbreaking move established her as the first Black woman athlete to own a sneaker enterprise, making a historic mark in both the sports and business worlds.
