Sobhita Dhulipala

Sobhita Dhulipala has transitioned from beauty pageant winner and model to a celebrated actress across multiple Indian and international film industries. After being crowned Femina Miss India Earth in 2013, representing India at Miss Earth 2013 and earning several subtitles including Miss Photogenic and Miss Beauty for a Cause, Sobhita Dhulipala made an early mark in the fashion industry, notably featuring in the 2014 Kingfisher Calendar. She transitioned to acting with her debut in the 2016 Hindi film ‘Raman Raghav 2.0,’ which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and earned her a best supporting performance nomination. Dhulipala further expanded her cinematic footprint with her Telugu film debut in the successful 2018 action-thriller ‘Goodachari.’ A significant turning point in Dhulipala’s career was her breakthrough role as Tara Khanna in the critically acclaimed Amazon Prime Video series ‘Made in Heaven,’ which aired from 2019 to 2023 and brought her widespread recognition.

In 2023, Dhulipala starred in the crime thriller series ‘The Night Manager,’ a role for which she received the prestigious ITA Award for Best Actress – Popular (OTT). Most recently, 2024 marked her prominent American cinema debut as Sita in Dev Patel’s directorial venture ‘Monkey Man.’ Having auditioned for the role in 2019 and personally selected by Patel, her entry into Hollywood further diversifies her acting portfolio and highlights her continued engagement in the global entertainment industry.
