Suniel Shetty

Suniel Shetty is an Indian actor, film producer, television personality, and entrepreneur known for his versatile career in Hindi and Tamil cinema. After making his acting debut in 1992 with the action film Balwaan, Suniel Shetty quickly established himself as a prominent figure in Indian cinema. His career gained significant momentum in 1994 with the blockbuster Mohra, followed by the acclaimed comedic film Gopi Kishan, where he delivered a notable dual role performance. Shetty cemented his reputation as a leading action hero throughout the 1990s, starring in successful films such as Waqt Hamara Hai (1993) and Dilwale (1994).

Expanding his influence in media, he co-founded F…the Couch (FTC), an online platform dedicated to discovering new talent, and served as a television personality, hosting reality shows including Biggest Loser Jeetega (2007) and India’s Asli Champion Hai Dam? (2017). His business acumen also led to the launch of the luxury furniture and home lifestyle store R House in 2013. In recent years, Shetty starred in Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea (2021) and delivered a compelling performance in the web series Hunter – Tootega Nahi, Todega (2023), earning him recognition as the Most Impactful Actor on OTT in 2023.

He continues to expand his ventures, having co-founded Ferit Cricket Bash in 2018 and invested in Squats in 2019. Shetty has also contributed to philanthropic efforts, notably aiding in the rescue of trafficked women in 2008 and advising the Vipla Foundation.
