T.J. McGibbon

TJ McGibbon is an award-winning actress whose hit twenty acting credits at just fifteen years old. In the short film Nothing Grows Here, her portrayal of the lead, Rachel, earned her the title of “Best Actress” from the 2016 RUFF Awards. To mainstream audiences, she’s best known for work in Lucky 7, The Umbrella Academy, and X Men: Apocalypse.

Hailing from Canada, McGibbon had her onscreen debut at the ripe age of eight years old, featuring in an episode of The Rick Mercer Report. Since, she’s guest-starred on countless other shows, and often nabs more prominent parts. For example, she’s the voice of Red Riding Hood on PBS’s Super Why!, and also has recurring characters on the Odd Squad (as Mathroom) and The Umbrella Academy (as Young Vanya, opposite Ellen Page)—both of which, she’s received Joey Awards for being a part of the ensemble.
