Tawin Hanprab

Tawin Hanprab is a Thai Olympic silver medalist in Taekwondo, recognized for his achievements at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics and various international competitions. After securing a silver medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in the men’s 58 kg category, Tawin Hanprab solidified his position as a world-class taekwondo athlete. His exceptional talent was evident early in his career, beginning with a silver medal at the Korea Open in Chuncheon in 2013 in the youth -45kg category. The following year, Tawin earned a gold medal at the Olympic Games qualification World in Taipei City in the -48kg youth division, foreshadowing his future Olympic success.

Tawin’s unwavering commitment to excellence extended into 2018, marked by a bronze medal at the Belgian Open in Lommel and another bronze medal at the Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City, both in the -58 kg category. He further demonstrated his versatility by winning a gold medal at the El Hassan Open in Amman in the -63 kg category that same year. Most recently, Tawin secured a bronze medal at the Belgian Open in 2019, underscoring his enduring presence and consistent top-tier performance within the global taekwondo circuit.
