Frentorish “Tori” Bowie began her athletic journey as an American track and field competitor specializing in the long jump, 100 meters, and 200 meters. Through dedicated training and discipline, she established herself as a formidable competitor across multiple sprint events on the international stage.
Her career reached international acclaim at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where she secured the silver medal in the 100-meter event and a bronze medal in the 200-meter race. She further cemented her status in global athletics by contributing to the U.S. women’s 4 by 100-meter relay team that claimed a gold medal at the Games.
Continuing her success on the world stage, Bowie claimed a bronze medal in the 100 meters at the 2015 World Championships. She followed this achievement at the 2017 World Championships by capturing the gold medal in the 100 meters and earning another gold medal as part of the U.S. women’s 4 by 100-meter relay team.
