Tyler Shaan Adams is an American professional soccer player renowned for his versatility on the field, primarily playing as a midfielder, but also excelling as a full-back or winger. His career began in the New York Red Bulls academy, where he developed his skills from 2012 until he turned professional with New York Red Bulls II in 2015. Adams made a remarkable impression, helping the team secure the USL Cup in 2016 and making his first-team debut in a friendly against Chelsea, scoring a memorable goal against the Premier League champions.

In January 2019, Adams took his talents to Europe by signing with RB Leipzig. His impact was immediate, contributing to significant victories, including a crucial assist in the Bundesliga and scoring the winning goal against Atlético Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. His time at Leipzig was marked by consistent performances that helped the club advance to the semifinals of the Champions League for the first time in its history.
