William Michael Morgan

William Michael Morgan is a country music singer-songwriter known for his traditional sound and chart-topping debut single, “I Met a Girl.” After securing a publishing contract with Warner/Chappell Music and a recording deal with Warner Music Nashville in 2012, William Michael Morgan launched his professional career in country music. He had previously developed his traditional sound early, forming a band at 12 that performed across Vicksburg and surrounding areas, and independently releasing the album ‘Always Country’ in 2006. His debut single, ‘I Met a Girl,’ released in July 2015, quickly garnered critical acclaim and significant airplay, climbing to number two on the Country Airplay chart and number eight on the Hot Country Songs chart by October 2016. The single was subsequently certified Gold by the RIAA, marking a significant early career milestone.

Maintaining a consistent output, William Michael Morgan has released multiple new projects in 2024.
