Bethany Joy Lenz
Best known for her role in the TV drama series One Tree Hill, Bethany Joy Lenz is an American actress, singer-songwriter, and director. On One Tree Hill, which aired on The WB and The CW, she played principal character Haley James Scott in all nine seasons of the show. Both Cosmopolitan and Digital Spy listed the series as one of the greatest teen dramas of all time. On the CBS Daytime soap opera Guiding Light, Lenz played the role of Michelle Bauer Santos. She is also known for her work as a solo artist and as a member of the band Everly.
In June 2011, Lenz launched the online store Lark, which sells clothing with her original designs. The non-profoit organizations Reading is Fundamental and Love146 are both beneficiaries of its revenue. In collaboration with the brand Stilnest, Lenz created her own jewellery line in July 2016. Ten percent of the earnings were given to the Tanka Fund, which aims to return 1 million acres of Native land back to buffalo ranching.
In December 2020, Lenz released her debut Christmas album, Snow. Mike Bundlie oversaw the recording’s production, while Poets Road Records handled its release. Six songs were included, four of which were Lenz originals. Anthony Evans from The Voice is featured in the song “My Christmas with You,” and Maria, Lenz’s daughter, is featured in the song “Listen.” Lenz started the Drama Queens podcast in 2021 with her former One Tree Hill co-stars Hilarie Burton and Sophia Bush.
