Brady Farrar

Brady Farrar, born Brady Martin Farrar on January 19, 2005, in Miami, Florida, USA, began his dance training at the age of five. His initial passion for dance developed while his father was deployed overseas with the Army, finding that dancing brought him happiness. This early dedication led him to train at Stars Dance Studio in Miami, Florida. Farrar’s training encompasses multiple disciplines, including lyrical, tap, and ballroom. He achieved recognition early in his career, earning Young Male Dancer of the Year at the American Dance Awards in 2014, and Mini Male Best Dancer of the Year at The Dance Awards in the same year. He was also featured in the You Know Section of Dance Spirit Magazine.

Farrar further distinguished himself in the competitive dance circuit. He earned a silver medal at the Youth America Grand Prix ballet competition in 2015, followed by a gold medal in 2016. In 2017, he received the Hope Award, and in 2018, he secured the junior male bronze medal at the same competition. His performance experience includes several YAGP galas, such as the 2016 Finals at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the 2017 Finals in the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. He also performed at the 2017 YAGP México Festival de Danza Córdoba and the Masters and Youth Gala at the Apollo Theater in Oregon House, California, where he danced alongside Bolshoi principal dancers Vladislav Lantratov and Maria Aleksandrova.

His career saw a significant expansion in 2019 when he joined season eight of the reality television series “Dance Moms” as the first male member of the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) Elite Competition Team. This role brought him wider public recognition and provided a platform to showcase his contemporary dance abilities. He continued to collect accolades, including being a three-time Best Dancer Winner at The Dance Awards and the 2021 winner of the Carla Fracci Prize at Novara Dance Experience.
